Look at our Nations Debt! Where will it lead?

MyOneVote.Com asks, who in Congress will lead us from the endless failure we have endured for so long? The fraud, waste, and mismanagement of our tax dollars is down right scary! Just look at the size of the National Debt, look at how fast it is growing? Who is going to pay for this? Name one thing that our government today does well, can you name anything?

According a Federal Contractor Guideline, and we quote here: “It is requirement that all employees working on government contracts be made aware that federal agencies maintain hotlines to provide an unconstrained avenue for reporting Fraud, Waste, Abuse and Corruption (FWAC). You have the option of remaining anonymous.”

• Fraud-“intentional misuse of programs funds.”

  MyOneVote.Com would like you to think about your federally elected official, what about all those “trips” taken by those in Congress? Do you think that they only go on business? What about special favors offered to friends, family and special interest groups that give millions to their re-election? Do you honesty think that all this money and privilege does not constitute their own definition of fraud? Since many in Congress are lawyers, they of course have legal speak for this, but if we lived by their rules in the private sector, we would go to jail.

• Waste-“mismanagement of funds; extravagant, careless expenditures.”

  MyOneVote.Com asks this, do you know lawmakers who fly in private jets, when they criticize those in the private sector from these same types of expenditures? If a company looking at federal money for help ran its business as poorly as does the US government, can you imagine the lectures Congress would issue those in the private sector? But does government do any better? Why do they accept things for themselves that they criticize others for doing? Can't you see a double standard here? If our government is broke, they why do lawmakers continue to accept these lavish privileges and continually vote themselves pay raises?

• Abuse-“Exploitation of policies, procedures, or job position for personal benefit.”

  Again, MyOneVote.Com asks, if we are forced to accept policies and laws upon us that those in Congress allow themselves out of, is that not exploitation? What about voting themselves raises, and all the special privilege? Again, is that not for their personal gain and benefit? Please stop and think, it is very easy and obvious to see a double standard. Remember, if those who serve in a democracy live a life separate than that of the governed, this is no longer democracy.

• Corruption-“lack of integrity or honesty and / or use of a position of trust for dishonest gain.”

  OK, we will not go here, this one is easy.

It is time for all Americans to admit that our government just does not serve us well anymore. The American system of government is not broken, our founding fathers were wise, but the people that serve us today are is broken. It is time to fix this, and the easy solution is to vote them all out of office. It is that simple, just vote them out. Become part of the voter revolt of 2010!
